A transparent 30x8cm multifunctional repair tape.
Permanently repairs holes and cracks in practically all materials except PVC and vinyl.
Extremely strong, water- and airtight and can even be used under water.
Ideal for tent fabric, sails, sleeping bags, air mattresses, sleeping mats, bicycle tyres, boats, etc..
Includes reinforcement thread for edges and seams and cleaning wipes for the substrate.
Type-B: Ready-to-use immediately | 100% adhesion after 24 hours
A 30x8cm transparent repair tape for PVC and vinyl.
Permanently repairs holes and cracks in practically all materials.
Extremely strong, water- and airtight and can even be used under water.
Specifically for vinyl and PVC materials.
Includes reinforcement thread for at edges and seams and cleaning wipes for the substrate.
Tear-Aid does what it promises if the instructions for use
are followed precisely.
For cracks or holes in the middle of the material:
1. Grease the fabric around the damage with the alcohol wipe provided.
….Make sure the surface is completely dry.
2. Cut the Tear-Aid patch to the correct size. For an optimal connection, have
….the patch at least 2.5 centimetres of adhesion on all sides of the tear.
3. Preferably cut the corners round.
4. Carefully peel off a piece of approx. 1 centimetre of the protective paper from
….de patch. To do this, stretch the patch slightly so that the paper tears.
5. Put the damaged material together.
6. Apply the cleared piece of Tear-Aid to the tear. Remove the rest of
….het paper and simultaneously apply the rest of the patch to the material.
7. Press firmly once more from the centre.
For tears or holes at the edge of the material:
1. Grease the fabric around the damage with the alcohol wipe provided.
….Make sure the surface is completely dry.
2. Cut the Tear-Aid patch to the correct size. For an optimal connection, have
….the patch at least 2.5 centimetres of adhesion on all sides of the tear.
3. On the outside of the material, apply the patch and turn the fabric over.
4. Place the supplied nylon thread along the edge for reinforcement.
5. Fold the protruding part of the patch around the edge.
6. Apply a second patch to the other side of the material.
7. Press the patches firmly and cut off the protruding part of the nylon thread.
